2005 Ford Freestyle Includes Factory Roof Rack SideRails

The new 2005 Ford Freestyle includes, among its many standard features, a factory roof rack system. Besides offering cargo transport, Ford Freestyle designers explained the purpose of the rack is to also add to the ambiance and versatility, while also covering a bulge in the rear portion of the roof that increases both rear headroom and cargo capacity.

The siderail system is designed to be compatible with after-market car rack systems including those manufactured by Thule, Yakima, Sportracks and Inno Car Rack systems.
